Update:Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. Almost Two years ago, I started being tested to find out if I had fibromyalgia. Yesterday I walked 24 miles for charity.
My fibro flared up at mile 10 but I crossed the finish line just before 7pm. I'm sore, having trouble walking and am so happy to have made a difference.
Bethany Christian Trust helps support people who are or are risk of homelessness with the little things- a cup of tea, a hot meal, right up to the big issues- employment and tenancy support. We aim to do this by supporting each individual in a way that speaks to their own situation and shows respect, care and dignity.
Your donations help to make it possible. Thank you.
I'm still raising funds if you want to give me a share!
I'm an Individual Giving Fundraiser at Bethany and work inspiring people to support our amazing causes. I've never really put my money where my mouth is though... So my fiance and I are taking on the Mighty Stride!
Bethany's tag line is "Ending homelessness in Scotland...one person at a time". Every year, due to support from people like you, we are supporting over 7,000 people in Scotland.
Bethany works with individuals and local communities across Scotland to prevent and end homelessness. They support families, young people, rough sleepers and people recovering from addiction. The need for their services is growing and your support is vital.
This walk is going to be a major challenge for me- I suffer from Fibromyalgia which makes extensive physical exercise a challenge, but we're rising to the occasion to support this great charity. Anything you can give really does make a difference!
