Our Story

We've created this team because we want to raise money and make a difference by participating in Edinburgh Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk 2019.
We love this country; its landscapes, bothies the islands and the history. Every cave and stone constantly radiates something spiritual within a material backdrop that makes us feel like we are dwelling in a sacred place between heaven and earth.

Living here, we feel like wandering pilgrims who are promoting the Way of the Celtic Saints and sharing with everyone the Orthodox faith that all these saints lived by.

Once again, we want to take part in the Kiltwalk to raise money for the Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Christian Trust. The congregation of our church, “the Archangel Gabriel,” in the West End of Glasgow has grown immensely in the last 2 years. We have a healthy and vibrant community with members of all ages and it is time for us to find our own church building. We are in need of a space that is bigger and better suited for our congregation.

The kiltwalk is a great way to raise money. It allows us and all who take part to see some really beautiful parts of Scotland and at the same time raise money for a good cause.

We hope that friends, family and people from all around the world would like to support our charity.

Please help us by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Edinburgh Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk 2019, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
